Bennett Construction built a new single family neighbourhood in North West Cambridge with homes, streets and shared spaces. This phase focused on townhouses delivered in planned steps so areas could open on time. Residents also gained a pavilion, gym, yoga studio, private dining room, bike café, cinema, games room and coworking space. The development met the updated Part L rules and aimed for high environmental standards.

Nora Building handled the painting and decorating for the new townhouses. Our scope covered walls and ceilings, woodwork and metalwork, with local prep and stain blocking where needed. We followed the approved colour schedule and signed samples. To keep results even, we used brush, roller and spray methods. Edges and corners were finished with care so lines stayed straight at skirtings, frames and stair edges.

Delivery needed tight control. Therefore, work moved street by street to support marketing and early move ins. We also protected floors, stairs and fitted furniture at each stage. In addition, daily check ins with the site team kept trades aligned and reduced rework. Meanwhile, low odour products and planned ventilation helped neighbours and workers. High traffic areas received tough paints to support cleaning and long life. Finally, each plot closed with joint inspections, a short snag list and sign off.
