Apartment painting and decorating East Grinstead at Newacre House formed part of a town centre conversion near the historic High Street. The development delivered studio and one bedroom homes with modern layouts and a clean specification. In addition, residents benefited from a small gym and co-working space. Because the station was a short walk away, commuting remained simple for buyers and tenants. As a result, the scheme appealed to first time buyers as well as landlords.

Nora Building painted and decorated the new apartments and the shared internal areas. Our scope covered walls and ceilings, woodwork and metalwork, with local preparation and stain blocking where required. Moreover, we applied fine finishing to doors and frames so junctions read crisp and consistent. Colours followed the approved samples and schedules, which ensured uniform results across units. To achieve an even finish, we used brush, roller and spray methods selected to suit each space.

Work progressed by floor to support marketing and handover. Therefore, completed homes moved forward without delay while other areas remained in progress. We protected floors and fixtures, planned clear access, and coordinated with joinery, MEP and flooring teams. In addition, corridors, lift lobbies and entrance zones received durable systems suited to high traffic. Daily checklists and short sign-off cycles kept quality and programme aligned. Finally, each phase closed with joint inspections, snagging and completion records.

The outcome presented clean lines, calm shared spaces and reliable durability. Meanwhile, residents’ amenities opened on time and matched the specification. Overall, the project delivered a coherent set of modern homes finished to a high standard.
