Apartment painting and decorating Chelmsford at Rosebery House formed part of a city centre office conversion on Springfield Road. The scheme delivered 66 studio, one and two bedroom apartments a short walk from Chelmsford station. Homes featured bright layouts and designer kitchens with integrated appliances. Residents also had secure cycle storage and the option of courtyard parking. As a result, the development suited first time buyers and investors and later sold out.
Nora Building painted and decorated the new apartments and the internal common parts. In scope were walls and ceilings, woodwork and metalwork, with local preparation and stain blocking where needed. In addition, colours followed the approved schedule and signed samples. We used brush, roller and spray methods to achieve a consistent, even finish.
Delivery in a live town centre location required clear phasing and protection. Therefore, works progressed by floor so completed homes moved to marketing and handover while other areas continued. We protected floors, fixtures and lifts, planned clean access routes, and coordinated with joinery, MEP and flooring teams to keep the programme on track. Meanwhile, waste, noise and odour were controlled through product choice, ventilation and timed activities.
The communal areas needed durable systems for high footfall. So corridors, lobbies and entrances received wear-resistant coatings. Finally, each phase closed with joint inspections, snagging and sign off to confirm quality.
The result was calm shared spaces and well finished homes that read as part of a simple, modern conversion. Overall, this case study shows apartment painting and decorating Chelmsford delivered to specification, to programme and with minimal disruption.
