AO Arena Suite

Arena suite painting Manchester at the AO Arena formed part of a premium hospitality fit out. The project combined three suites to create one executive space with a private bar, food service and direct views of the stage. Because the venue stayed live, access and sequencing needed tight control. As a result, protection, deliveries and testing followed short, planned windows so the arena could keep operating.

Nora Building painted and decorated the reworked suite, circulation routes and service zones. Our scope covered walls and ceilings, woodwork and metalwork, with local preparation and stain blocking where required. We finished ceiling coffers and edges so lines stayed crisp around lighting and grilles. In addition, colours matched approved samples and coordinated with the joinery, metals and furniture package. We used brush, roller and spray methods to achieve an even result across both front-of-house and back-of-house areas.

Delivery in a high-spec venue demanded close coordination. Therefore we protected floors and finishes, kept clear routes for other trades and timed work to avoid noise during rehearsals. Moreover, low-odour products and planned ventilation reduced disruption to staff and performers. Each zone closed with joint inspections, a short snag list and sign off to confirm quality. Meanwhile, handover packs recorded the systems used in high-wear locations to support maintenance.

The completed suite read as a single, seamless space for VIP guests. Surfaces looked calm and consistent, while details around lighting, bars and sightlines felt precise.
