Signature at Hornchurch

Care home painting Hornchurch at Signature Care Home formed part of a major new healthcare development in east London. Elliott Group delivered the project for Signature Senior Lifestyle on the Ardleigh Green campus. The purpose-built care home provides 87 bedrooms and suites together with facilities for residential, nursing, dementia, respite and rehabilitation care. Residents also benefit from lounges, dining areas, a cinema room, salon and therapy spaces designed to create a welcoming environment.

Throughout the project, Nora Building completed painting and decorating works across bedrooms, corridors, communal areas and staff facilities. In addition, our team installed decorative wallpaper and feature finishes that helped bring character to key spaces. Every area required a consistent finish that balanced appearance with long-term durability.

In care settings, finishes need to perform as well as look good. For that reason, preparation received close attention from the start. Clean lines, smooth surfaces and consistent colours remained a priority throughout the programme. Approved colour schemes guided the works, while durable coating systems supported cleaning and maintenance. At the same time, decorative wallcoverings helped strengthen the interior design and improve the overall appearance of shared spaces.

Alongside Elliott Group and the wider project team, Nora Building coordinated works carefully to support programme requirements and maintain quality standards. Regular inspections helped achieve consistency across repeated room layouts, corridors and communal facilities. As the building progressed, close collaboration allowed finishes to remain uniform throughout the development.

The completed care home delivers modern accommodation together with high-quality facilities for residents, visitors and staff. As a result, the interiors achieved a professional and welcoming appearance across all areas.
